School against school — a point for every word read right
Every word a talmid reads correctly in practice becomes a point for his school. Schools race the rest of their league on words conquered since Sunday, and the standings refresh every five seconds, so the board can stay up on the smartboard during practice. Nothing extra has to be switched on — the reading practice already syncing to his account is what moves the bar.

One point per word
The race bar is the words a school's talmidim have read correctly since Sunday. The separate all-time leaderboard adds ten points for each day of a streak. Both are read straight off the synced progress, not entered by hand.
The week starts Sunday
At the turn of each week every soldier's word count is snapshotted, so all the bars restart at zero. The previous week's top three in each league are archived and shown under Past weeks.
Three leagues, ranked live
Chabad, Bais Yaakov, and Modern Orthodox each run their own standings. A school enters its league the moment its first talmid enlists.
Find and join your school
Search a directory of 178 schools by name, city, or state, filter by hashkafah, and join with one tap. A school that is not listed can be added by the admin.
Your own standing
An enlisted talmid sees which school he is fighting for, his total points, and his words this week, and can switch schools.
Left running on the board
The page polls the server every five seconds while it is open, with a live indicator and a countdown to the end of the race week.
Who it's for — Rebbeim and morahs who want a reason for the class to keep reading, and talmidim who respond to a scoreboard. Plus and up — the same tier that opens the library the words are read from.
