The smartboard view — the class watches its words add up
Class board is made for the projector while the class is practicing. One tile per talmid or talmidah, with the name and today's count in type you can read from the back row, refreshed every six seconds, and a tile that turns amber for a moment when that child's count has just risen. A child who has not started yet reads "ready" rather than a zero.

Example · on the projectorOne tile per child
Name, today's count of words read aloud and judged correct, and a day streak when there is one. Tiles are ordered by today's count, so the board reorders itself as the lesson runs, and the top three who have started carry a medal.
It moves every six seconds
The board asks the class dashboard for fresh figures on a six-second timer. A tile whose count went up since the last poll scales up and turns amber for about two seconds, which is the part the room actually watches.
Nobody reads as behind
A talmid or talmidah who has not started shows the word "ready" instead of a zero, and no accuracy figure appears on the board at all.
Today means today
The count is attempts judged correct since midnight on the server, not a rolling twenty-four hours, so every school day starts the board fresh.
The header does the counting
Above the tiles: the class total of words read today, how many of the class have started, and, when the class has a weekly word goal set, a bar with the running total against that goal.
Made to be left running
A Full screen button drops the browser chrome, a picker switches classes when the account has more than one, and a poll that fails leaves the last good board on the wall rather than blanking the projector.
Who it's for — For a Rebbi or Morah who wants the class to see its own practice adding up while it is happening. The class-board capability sits on the school plans, and the board only ever loads a class your account manages.
