R' Bachya's gate of trust, word by word
My Shaar HaBitachon opens the Fourth Treatise of Chovot HaLevavot — R' Bachya ibn Paquda's gate of trust in Hashem — the hakdamah and seven perakim, every word pointed and every paragraph translated. Read it with the English beside it, the word-by-word translation under it, the root coloured inside each word, or practice reading it aloud — the same switches and the same voice coach as every sefer in the library.
Listening…
Shoresh colouring needs the word's root in the app's own table, which is still being filled — so that number is a count, not a ceiling, and it rises with every release. Every word is still read, glossed and heard.
The whole gate, fully pointed
The Hebrew is Sefaria's Vocalized Edition — public domain and pointed on every word of all 306 paragraphs — so the Nekudos switch is simply always there.
Every paragraph translated
R' Yosef Sebag's translation (CC-BY) covers all 306 paragraphs, each in its own paragraph's place — English can never drift under the wrong Hebrew.
The seven perakim as R' Bachya built them
The hakdamah, then the seven chapters — what bitachon is, in whom it may be placed, its preconditions, and how it is lived in parnassah and in avodah. Next and previous walk the gate straight through.
Read aloud, like every other sefer
The Practice tab drills the open perek through the same voice judge as the siddur — and Shoresh and Dikduk colour the words the same way, so the learning carries from sefer to sefer.
Who it's for — For anyone learning bitachon daily, for a family taking a perek at the table, and for a school teaching emunah and bitachon from the sefer itself. Premium and up — it sits with the Beis Midrash shelf, beside Shemirat HaLashon on the Mussar shelf.
